Alright, everyone!!!! Would love to hear what fellow CT'ers are booked on, thinking about booking, deposited, or sailing on in 2013/2014? Any old timer CT members out there across the pond in Europe going on a cruise this year? How about our members over in Asia and Australia? Would love to hear from as many people as possible!

I'm pre-booked on a three-night cruise out of Hamburg onboard Hapag-Lloyd Kreuzfahrten's "Columbus 2" (currently Oceania's "Insignia") August 18th - 21st, 2012, which is part of the "Hamburg Cruise Days 2012" festival. No cruise fares have been announced, so far, and my cabin won't be confirmed (if it's going to be confirmed) until April, 2011.

Best,

Raoul

I want to go on a cruise sometime this year I have been looking at various lines. But have been looking most at the Carnival Magic 7 day western carribean but my wife wants to go Sandals Bahamas Emerald Bay Resort. She wants us to go on a couples vacation and leave the kids under my moms supervision for two weeks while we get some R&R. So we may or we may not go on a cruise this year.

The two cruises on Allure are the only thing booked at this time. Looking at Europe after the Allure next year.

She next to the LoveBoat on my Bermuda cruise. NE tends to corkscrew in bad weather. She was updated about 5 years ago and inside looks contemporary. For me she is the right size.

Enjoy your trip

As for 2011, I'm booked on "Artania's" (ex "Artemis", "Royal Princess") maiden cruise for Phoenix Reisen in May and on a Mediterranean cruise aboard "Carnival Magic" for October. Add to this two river cruises (one on the Rhine, one on the Danube).

Best,

Raoul

She's quite a nice ship, and was very ahead of her time from a design standpoint. She was the first ship to have a two-deck dining room at the stern and also the first with an atrium that is the full height of her accommodation decks. In a sense she is more advanced than SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, and some of her design elements found their way into LEGEND OF THE SEAS and subsequent ships.
