Well 2012 has totally changed for us.

Allure OTS - 1/22/12
Celebrity Summit - 11/10/12

We are also doing a land cruise to Key West for a week in June. We did this last year and it was one of our best vacations.

THANKS Tim and welcome back! Looking forward to your review and pictures. Added your 2013 cruise as well!

I am still trying to get something going for Jan/Feb 2013 but a recent quite unfortunate event has left me struggling, so I don't think I'll be cruising again anytime soon.

If anyone else has sailed Jan 2013 cruises I can add or any future 2012/2013 cruises you want to share please feel free. At least I can travel vicariously through your eyes. It'll give me something to look forward to...

Just booked Oceania's Riviera from Barcelona to Miami on Nov 15, 2012. Hope I enjoy Riviera as much as I enjoyed Marina.

An update for me: my NORDSTJERNEN cruise in March was cancelled (well, a new vessel was substituted for her) and Hurtigruten let me cancel, since I have no interest right now in their new ships.

But I'm doing a "filler" cruise aboard WESTERDAM in March.

Also sailing aboard MARCO POLO in April

Once again, David, I must say that you are doing a fantastic job of logging all of these trips.

You can put me down for a "Voyage to America" on the Steamboat AMERICAN QUEEN in October.

That's very interesting. I actually planned to travel with her one more time along the Norwegian coast but since I could not sufficiently plan ahead she was fully booked when I finally knew that I could take some time off.
(I have some other travel plans for this year (aboard ships) but while this thread is nice to read I do not intend to share these plans in advance - sorry).

There is certainly no pressure or obligation to share anyone's cruise plans with the rest of us at CT. As much fun as it is to share (and throw out some bragging rights), I understand there may be reasons for not wanting to.

As I mentioned before, a recent event has thrown my life into major financial and physical turmoil and my plans for 2012 are now in the trash. I'll be lucky if I can get anything going for 2013, but in the mean time I can still dream and plan as if I can, and all the while cruise vicariously through the eyes of others here at CT.

Someone once told me that 'if you have something that you are really looking forward to you'll never die'. Silly and of course not true, but a nice thought none the less.

I am grateful for those who have made this thread what it is, and that it still continues.

May you all have fair seas and following winds...

As well as enjoying this thread, I also look forward to your screen shots of unusual nautical events from webcams. Heck, I was even in one of them!!
Thanks, Grant

I'm heading for Dubai from Barcelona on Voyager of the Seas on 30th April.

Prices are incredibly low for this sector (from one UK agent in particular but I don't know if i'm allowed to mention it here). Single price for the 15 nights is only £436!!!

If the next sector to Singapore also drops I'll be on it also.

It seems rare that 2 or more Cruise talkers are on the same ship at the same time.
I know it has been said to possibly have a Cruise Talkers cruise. It would be difficult to settle on where as we have CTers from all over.
This may have been tried but never happened??

We gave Costa 2 chances, in '06 and '07. No more.

We're taking the Eclipse transatlantic on 4/21 and the Brilliance OTS to Norway from Amsterdam on 5/12. I don't suppose the one night on the Stena Hollandica between those two counts.

I know some of those ferries are large, but for right now I think actual cruise ships are what we'll stick with.
