Visually she doesn't look very stable - she may need a yacht like extending keel !

NCL’s CEO Colin Veitch is quoted as saying : “…they (the F3’s) may not end up as the most beautiful ships on the outside. Our goal is to build the best, most innovative ship, not the prettiest to watch sail by.”

I can't argue with him about the ships apperance. She will make 'Pride of American' look like a Beauty Queen! In fact this MUST be the ugliest cruise ship ever built from scratch.

I still have high hopes for her interiors.

I know HMS Bonaventure and who he works for, I can tell you that he is NOT paid by NCL and (to the best of my knowledge) gains nothing by posting his opinion - except to what express he feels.

There are many of us on here who work/ have worked in the industry (whether cruise or travelin general) and post our opinions here. While it sure helps if they agree w/ the vision our company (and teh forum) has; however, if they don't that - that is OK too (depending upon our level of involvement at a corporate level of course).

Now - let this EPIC conversation continue - poor thing...it's not the ships fault it looks the way it does

Those lines have come down from a set of ships called the MISTRAL, the EUROPEAN VISION and all the recent MSC ships that were built here (MSC OPERA and LIRICA excepted).

Box boxy boxy and now carbuncular as well.

France may have produced the NORMANDIE and the FRANCE but she has also produced some oddball ships. Remember all those square funnels with the big lips?
