Hi Deb,
I am here. I had some problems with getting logged in a few weeks ago after doing a sweep on my computer. I know little about computers, but my brother got me back on line. Hope you are coping with the cold weather. Will you be returning to FL anytime soon? All the best to you for 2011!

PHEW!!!!!!! What a relief, I was wondering what happened to you. I'm doing ok up here. I'm just now getting to the point that I am ready to start cooking for myself again. I had been, but it was mostly salads, frozen meals and eating out. Tonight I made chicken, with mixed veggies, and a baked potatoe...yummiliciousness. I have my own cookware now. Not what I came up with. I gave a lot of that away and I know that was the right step to take. As to moving to FL, it's on hold. Housing market is the pits here. However, I'm going through things here and seeing what I don't need. So, when I get ready to move back. I'll not have as much as I did when I moved up. Less is better. I'm keeping warm up here, snow is on the way. About 2-5 inches forecasted for Wed.-Thurs. this week. It's very good to hear from you. How are you liking it down there?

Good to hear from you, Deb. It's been cool, warm and cold in FL this winter, but still far better than in PA. Still lots of sunny days and blue skies which are minimal in PA during the winter.
Are you ever in touch with Patsy? She no longer posts here, but I do hear from her now and then. She has had some family problems recently, but she'll be okay I think. Pam would probably know more in detail.
David, from Clarksburg, WV, certainly enjoyed his recent cruise on Celebrity out of Baltimore. Always nice to hear when someone has a great time with so many positive things to report.
Stay warm, safe, and in touch!

I hear from Patsy alot, she's on Facebook and so am I. If you're on there, look me up, just put in the search Deborah D'Ambrosi and you'll find me. I'm glad to read that Dave enjoyed his cruise. I always liked Celebrity, although I only cruised it once, before it became Celebrity, the GALILEI in July 1987. I know you're enjoying it down there in FL, you moved to Leesburg right? I'm staying plenty warm that's for sure. I've got one furnace going and a smaller heater keeping the walk-in area warm. I know you don't miss the weather in PA, however you're about to go through spring down there. Keep your weather radio handy, because February is known for tornadoes.

Good to hear you're staying warm. Much snow and ice?
I am in North Palm Beach.....very small house, but suits me just fine. Happy you're in touch with Patsy. Hope she returns to CT, but she says she will not. Are you working at all? I know you were taking some courses a while back.

Oh yes, we've had snow up here, not a lot of ice, most of that has hung down in KY. We're supposed to get about 5 or 6 inches and are under a Winter Weather Advisory from midnight Wednesday to Thursday at 6 pm. The temp. right now is 30 and still going down. It would be nice if Patsy would return, but I'm not quite sure why she left. Right now, I'm not working, except on my house. I've remodeled the kitchen some, repainting it is next. I dropped my classes last spring, because one of the courses was getting to be too much. All I wanted to do was train to be a Medical Transcriptionist, however; it would change if I went into a doctor's office. I'd end up doing more than just transcription and then I could get sued if I didn't do a transcription right. That was enough for me to back out of it altogether. I did work this past semester at the college, not a lot of hours; but it was good.

I am sorry about Patsy too. She always had plenty to say and offer from Southampton. Sorry the weather is so nasty. At least it will give you some time on inside projects. I can understand your concern over the liability involved in the medical office. Nice thing is though as a retired person you can pick up work here and there at odd times other persons don't want. I have a friend in Huntington, WV who just started a four month job involving texts books. She is a retired media specialist from high schools in MD, FL, and KY. Deb, I will try to private message you.
