Bar Stools were Square type not rounded and Four arm chairs are not from in the '70th.

You can see the Quuen's lounge and door open in the center of the photo.

The new chairs are right out of a Check Cashing service or filling station

There was a thread flying around that the original chairs were too heavy and the unions made them dispose of them since they were above the weight that they were allowed to lift?

Poster(s) migjht be insisted on the chairs in the smoking room?
The chairs in the smoking room are not original though you may able to see original(or similar) chairs in the ambassador room.

The Smoking Room chairs were changed near the end of the HAL era. The reversible sofas near the windows appear to be the originals. All of the chairs in the Ocean Bar are different from the original ones.

You are wrong, The Smoking Room chairs were changed by the early 80th.

New chairs were appeared on 1983/4 brochure.
