She was built for Zim for Haifa - Marseille service.In 1969 sold to New Horizons Shipping, Monrovia and was laid up at Toulon, in 1971 moved for further lay up to La Spezia, Italy.In 1975 she was converted into a cruise ship for 730 passengers for the US market.In 1978 registered for Freeport Cruise Lines, Panama and in 1985 for Bermuda Star Line Cruises, Panama. In 1989 chartered by the Finnish / Swedish company EffJohn International and later the same year laid up in Nassau, Bahamas.In November 1990 sold to Veracrouz Transportation, Piraeus.On 10-14-1991, while being refurbished at Drapetzona, Piraeus she caught fire, listed and sank in shallow waters. In April 1992 the wreck was cut into eight sections, then raised and removed.
