I wonder what is the state of the ' Pacifc ' regarding asbestos still being on board !
This could lead to her also being grounded off of Alang ! .

This morning (UK time ) she was moving along the coast of India near to Kochi ( Cochin ) at 4.5 knots.
She is shown on the AIS ship position maps as due to arrive at the ship breakers yards at Bhavanagar on the 17th February 2015..

Many thanks for the comment.
They need an off shore wind now to push her closer to the shallow water as it is still not clear if she has been cleaned and all her asbestos removed !
If any is still on board that should prevent her from being broken up in India.
Perhaps she could be come a cheap hostel type hotel ship in Goa. lol.
( full details of her speeds between 19.05 hrs and 21.51 hrs are on my ' Neil's Cruisingchat ' facebook ' site ! )
What happened is not known as it could have been the engines blowing up or just ran out of fuel again but it looks as if the plans were to run her aground then they have so far failed !
She has an official draft of 6.9 mtrs but if her shaft bearings are leaking, or there are other problems with her hull, then she could be lower in the water.
Today she still remains off Alang ! .
Best regardsRené.
