Interesting that she was sold. I liked the old Song of America. She was a nice ship, but had problems with cabins and bedding.

I hope she does well for her new owners.

At least she is a generation ahead of her old sisters that have gone to scrap. The Sovereigns and the America were good sturdy ships. They all still have life in them yet.

Sold?

Louis has owned her for a while now. They had her on charter to Thomson but they swapped her with the newer ex. Norwegian Majesty a while back. Louis ran her in the Med during the summer as the Louis Olympia and now she is being switched over to the new Celestyal brand which is another attempt by Louis to have a Greek cruise line. I don't know if Louis did anything side this last winter during lay up but the pictures from last summer showed her to be almost intact to what the Song of America looked like with only minor changes.

Thanks for posting the pictures link. She was a fairly good looking ship as built although the big "target" on her side does nothing for her looks.
