Emerging from the murk of lashing rain, high winds, thunder and lightning she sailed past East Cowes, Isle of Wight at 10:05. Apologies for the terrible photos!
... Pam
The MUTS is nearly as big as her funnel - well from this angle It is certainly prominent.
At 12:00 there was supposed to be an orchestra on Town Quay and horn blowing from the ships in port - but whether this went ahead or not I don't know. The waiting guests were assembled under umbrellas, with an assortment of instruments visible, but although I hung around until long after then I only heard one 'parp'.
More photos here. Hope the weather is better for the rest of her stay.

Thanks a lot - especially because of the bad weather. No doubt that you could have taken nicer pictures in sunshine but one can't influence that. It's highly appreciated that you went out there in these conditions.
Two things that will take me awhile to get used to:
1. The prominently displayed MUTS screen.2. The short stubby bow.

Looks like a pound puppy that's for sure.
Wonder if the speakers are as big.... and then you will see it and hear it clear at the other end of the ship, the ship on the other side of the dock, the dock across the bay ......
As they say the sun always shines .... at least in Photoshop.
It's the photoshop Princess.

I would HATE to be in one of those cabins directly under the SeaView Bar.. no view upwards apart from pipes, no sun.. and they appear to be mini-suites.. surely not? Likewise to stb - everyone walking around the Sea Walk will be able to have a nice view of those cabins as well as the sea. Most odd.
