Here we see a traditional Christmas tree in place above the wheelhouse (some ships placed them on the mast.) Can anyone identify which ship this is?

I had a feeling it was her, she was my first cruise in May '81. Nice and small, with some transatlantic feel to it. I'm glad I was able to sail her when she was with Cape Canaveral Cruise Line. I managed to get more interiors and exteriors of her then. Wish I had done it with the others we sailed on in the 80's.

We were in Cocoa Beach staying in a condo and watched the ship come in in the morning. A few hours later I called Cape Canaveral Cruise Line and found that they had a quad cabin available on the cruise leaving that day. We cancelled the remaining nights at the condo and went on the cruise. The total for all four of us (my wife and I had the kids with us) came to about $480.

It rained for most of the cruise. In the main lounge, located under the boat/promenade deck, they sat buckets all around the room to catch the rain water that was leaking through the deck. It looked like paint was holding the ship together but, you know what?, it was terrific fun, the food and service was very good and I wouldn't have missed it for world.

I was trying to find that image of her on the beach on Maritime Matters, the photos only go back to 2005.

Thank you Rich...hard to believe that's how she looked before she was taken apart. She still looked good when she was sitting at Freeport that last time I saw her before she went to Alang.

Forgive my ignorance but I assume the Dolphin was built for someone other than the cruise line shown, anyone know a short history of her?
