Wow! Nice site Ernest, very but very good site!

Very easy to navigate and clean too, no useless things. I really enjoyed the videos, in very good definitions, and a wonderful selection too.

Ben the Calliope is great to hear - once or twice, but I bet if working aboard DQ, or any of the other Steamboats, one may be tearing one's hair out after a while!

There are some very lovely clips on the Delta Queen page. Specifically:-

"Leaving Cincinnati" and the "Engine Room".

Some of my favourite clips are of Sampo.

"Breaking Ice"

Oh.. and don't forget Sea Cloud!!

Great stuff Ernst, oh how excited and sad I get seeing the Eugenio Costa (and other lost classics) and the lost opportunity to photograph them (In your movies I see a lot of perspectives and composition opportunities I also see when I see a ship for myself)

It's a pity that I do not have more on Eugenio C. - but maybe it gives you comfort that I might be able to post the one or the other clip on e.g. Juno (Goetacanal) which just has been mention in a paralell thread.

For now, those of you interested in old ships might want to have a look at the following subpages:

I am just trough halve of my 'archive' - whereas I do not believe that this will double the number of clips on my page I hope I will be able to present the one or the other nice 'movie'. (....if I only had the camera on all my journeys .....)

On Princess Danae are passengers not permitted on those foredecks? They seem to be bereft of anyone. She does however appear to have oodles of deck space to wander about on anyway.
