The small 30,277 grt P & O Cruises ship ' Adonia ' proceeded about 50 miles inland on Wednesday night and arrived at the port of Seville about 6.30 hrs today.

I can not remember a P & O Cruises ship visiting this port before !

Adonia did this last year , August 30 2014. I remember as I was watching Marine Traffic and spotted Adonia well inland. I thought the tracking may be a bit askew but then realised she had made her way up the river.
It would be a wonderful cruise to be on.

Adonia also visited Seville in May 2014. She and similar sized vessels such as her sisters Azamara Journey and Quest are now regular visitors and probably the largest ships able to reach the city centre since the construction of the new Seville Port Lock System and Flood Barrier a couple of years ago.
