When I was a kid, on in port days, my family seemed to always find itself on board Sun Viking for lunch and to hang about the ship all afternoon. Those were the days before security was a serious issue.
I have been aboard Nordic Prince and Sun Viking quite often. Song of Norway, not so much. When i worked for RCI back in 91-92, we used to lunch aboard Song of America and the Sovereign Vessels.
You can't hold a candle to those original ships that used to call Port Miami Home.
Jeremy in Montreal.

It such a shame that the old ship are not around anymore. The Sun Viking resides in China as a hotel ship. I wished that the ship was still sailing. Imperial Cruises made the worst mistake in disposing the Regal Empress for the MS Bahamas Celebration that ended up getting scraped a few years later. At least they could had obtained the SS Maxim Gorkiy as that was a real ship. Too bad she got scrapped the same year as the Regal Empress.
