Well done! Love the NASM on the top deck, mid-ship where it was originally.

HAL still have the 4 missing lifeboats in Seattle. They offered them fore free to "The Rotterdam bv" But there was no money to transport them back to Rotterdam. I think it's strange they spent 250 million and there was no money left to transport them back...... I always hoped that HAL would transport them to Rotterdam on board on of there ships but this never happened.

The 4 tenders are in Rotterdam of which 1 was restored. Plans are to restore the other 3 to. But this plan was abandon due to lack of money (?) and there where some major difficulty's with the restoration of the first one.

Greetings Ben.

I would like to stay on her. Has the on board situation improved re: access to more areas of the ship?

Any cabins to avoid? Which are the best value.

Is the ship a good base to explore Rotterdam by foot/public transport?

Friends from England (He's a HAL Captain) had plans to stay on the ship for a few days, but I haven't heard from them in about a month, so will write and see what they have to say about the ship/hotel.

Just to answer your questions short:

A: No, not yet.

B: Not aware of any.

C: Yes. There is a shuttle ferry by Spido, which brings you to the North bank of the river at the foot of the Erasmusbridge. From there it is 10 to 15 minutes walk to the Maritime Museum and a few minutes more to the shopping center. Spido office (at the north bank) can provide more info of the city.
