Anyone else get this? Not that I wouldn't travel Costa due to the recent incidents, but I have other cruise lines of preference.

As HAL pax we also got this pitch. We weren't attracted to Costa before, even less now.

Yep I got one, I also got one prom Princess offering me a credit as a past HAL guest.

Strangely I didn't get anything from Princess or HAL offering me a $300 credit because I was a previous cruiser we both of them......

The one smart move CCL could actually make is to put all their separate programs under one program, but that won't happen.

I had asked Princess if they would credit cruises on HAL into their scheme so you could accumulate them altogether for perks. NO!
At Least RCL(Celebrity,Azamara) does that with their point system. However one would need many points to get to the upper levels they offer. See their web site for details.

I didn't get this. Then again, I only seem to get emails from Cunard, not HAL or Princess (the other Carnival brands I've sailed with). I seem to get more stuff in the postal mail. I think I've gotten materials promoting Costa to me as a past guest of (Princess? HAL? I don't remember) but I've never paid much attention.

No they don't. Well, Celebrity and Azamara do, since they shared Captain's Club until recently, but Celebrity and Royal Caribbean will match your status if you have a higher status on the other brand, but not combine credits to get you to a higher level. I'd be at a much higher level if they did.

The Carnival brands don't do status matches, but I think past guests of one are supposed to be eligible for the past guest discounts on all of them. Even status matches would be difficult since the tiers aren't really comparable across brands, whereas Celebrity and Royal Caribbean basically have the same tiers and eligibility requirements, just with different names.

Anyway, I don't really care much, other than that Cunard gives me a certain amount of free Internet time, which is nice since it's actually useful. I don't really care much about lapel pins or cocktail parties or the other various stuff one usually gets.
