It seems like Winter is so long this year. Since Thanksgiving it has been cold and snowy. Not big snows but 1-2 inches every few days, Cold today 0 degrees F. Snow tonight.
Only good thing days are getting longer,a few minutes each day.
Only a little over 3 weeks till we go to Miami and get on Reflection and then cruise the Carriibean.
But when we get back still 2 more months of Winter.
Anyone else feeling the Winter blues??

I could not handle that kind of weather but we are in the middle of a late December heat wave and drought. It is crystal clear and 75 here in LA but I would actually prefer some cool weather and rain! It should be gorgeous here for the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl game on Wednesday.

Record heat over the past few weeks here in Miami, as well. Daytime temps in the high 80s, overnight lows in the 70s. Very nice, we all look forward to Winter down here, but a bit cooler would make things seem more seasonal!

Hope it's still warm in 3 weeks in Miami.
We could have up to 10 inches of snow later today, tonight and into tomorrow morning! Happy New Year!
Was 1 above zero this morning. Much colder up north-we are only 25 miles northwest of Chicago.
We are going a day early before the cruise due to uncertain weather. Always a good idea.

Now that would NOT be on a cruise for me. Where is this photo taken?
COLD here still. By Monday we could be seeing -18-25 below zero F.daytime temps.
Getting windy and snow is starting to blow around. We could have a ground blizzard ,winds 20 35mph.
Snowblower going to shop tomorrow.

Frosty, that QM2 photo was taken yesterday (Friday) morning at Brooklyn; the ship came in early, at 11pm the night before, to beat the blizzard. Loads of photos of snow on her decks are now floating around the Internet.

The QM2 looks like my house. I just cleared out some more of the 6" that fell last night.
More coming and bitter cold later.
I see Florida is still warm.
Even Southampton is relatively warm at 49 degrees.

Temps got up to 40 yesterday. Rained 1 inch making for very slippery conditions. Flooding with snow melt. Now we have thousands of potholes on the roads. You hit one of these and you could blow a tire, damage a tire rim, and damage your front end steering.
Oh the joys of Winter!!!

Enough already!!!!!!!!!! Another 3 " of snow last night. We keep getting these 1-2 " snows every other day. Now the cold returns for this coming week. Can't wait till Friday when we're off to Refection in Miami. Hope we don't have any airport issues leaving.
Maybe the weather will have turned around when we get back.
At least the days are getting longer.Have you noticed?

Got back from Reflection on Saturday.Snowing at the airport. Got home and had a little trouble getting to the house -snow!built up from the week we were gone
Beautiful weather on the cruise-80s A few very brief rain showers In San Juan and St Maarten.
This morning was 0 degrees. Tomorrow more snow 4-6 inches. Should bring the total so far to 70+ inches. We have had snow on the ground since Thanksgiving. Snow mounds all over.
Our local Ground Hog Woodstock Willy says 6 more wintery weeks to go.

Here we are in late Feb. This morning 0 F . Colder tonight with snow due Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Polar Vortex still hanging around.
I see it's in the 50s in the UK but they have had lots of rain and flooding.
At least I had a small break with our cruise a few weeks ago.Wonder if we will have a cool Summer?
