Still looks like a submarine, maybe they are looking into having the first submarine lifeboats that pop out from underneath. Still probably wouldn't be the craziest idea they try with this project.

I think if the funnels were a bit smaller and one more deck added for the lifeboat issues. It would be worth building.

I think they better wake up fast, altough the design is interesting it will never be built, it 's just another project that gets stuck in the "IDEA PHASE" like Project America, freedomship and a new Titanic.

At age 87, I am grateful beyond belief that my late wife and I had the pleasure of two wonderful voyages aboard the real "France." It was said then by a critic: "Not everyone can be a multi-millionaire, but first-class passengers on 'France' were treated to food and service worthy of such."

I do not expect to live to see the new "France," proposed and shown here, to go into service.

I suppose I should be thankful for that.

Fortunately, for ship lovers it's so much easier to build a concept, a Face-book page and a model, than a real ship!

He/They should have put their creative efforts in to saving the real thing!

I like the fact that it looks like nothing else out there. The hull is actually quite lovely. Yes the "Stack" towers are overscale, but it makes the ships somewhat impressive looking. I hope they get to build it.

That's one of the damn dumbest things I've ever seen. To call it FRANCE is actually an insult to FRANCE (the ship AND the country).
