I did a quick Google search and came away with a wealth of information from several sites that offer cruises to Antarctica.

Let's start with:

HURTIGRUTEN

THIS SITE seems to list the majority of all the other small ships that go there.

As far as mass market ships I think the pickings will be very, very slim. The only one I found was Prinsendam from Holland-America. It was a 68-day circumnavigation of South America r/t from FLL starting at $13k pp for an Inside cabin. I also couldn't find anything from Princess Cruises that use to offer these types of cruises with one of their large ships like Star Princess.

The conventional Hurtigruten ships are not made for that. Fram seems to be nice but I do not know how she is operated. Personally, I would not choose them.

Ships like Prinsendam are for many reasons totally out of place down there.

Hapag Lloyd should be mentioned - they do a pretty good job. Also not ideal, but close.

Polar Cruises is a great company and has what you're looking for. I haven't done this cruise yet, I hope to soon, but I have been researching which company to go with.

We were in the Antarctic on the Veendm in January - no landings but didn't think we missed much...There seems to be lots of choice of ship types - even sailboats. Find something with good scientific lecturers. Whatever ship you choose, go if you can. The scenery and wildlife are magical.
