hi there

i do not know the inside information
about what went wrong at Hurtigruten
alas this wondefull little cruiseship
Finnmarken now chartered for workmen
down under in Fremantle for 18 months
and perhaps twice as long...

WOW!!!! I am shocked by its new look...
I prefer the old livery (black and red) makes her looks more handsome.
I 've been on this ship - she is lovely really with lots of art-deco feel inside. The balcony suites are also very nice.
This ship could be an excellent boutique-expedition ship. she is suitable to Antartica and small ports of call, it have an automatic gangaways and platforms (in which zodiaks can go out) I think she is perfect for a boutique line that specialized in an intimate club expedition voyages...

Hurtigruten makes a tremendous amount of money on this charter, and they sure need it! She has been painted all white to better cope with the hot Ozzie climate (note that additional airco facilities also seem to have been added on the top deck).
