Have a look at the colour scheme of Tallink's new cruise ferry SUPERSTAR which arrived at Gibraltar this morning for bunkers, en route from her Italian builders at Fincantieri for Helsinki.

Shots of her have been placed on the Gibraltar Port website at www.gibraltarport.com

They clearly failed to warn seasick passengers that they should try to go to the aft rails.

Reminds me of a creamy split pea soup topped w/ sour cream and a sprinkling of saffron...

Good think one can't see it once onboard LOL.

Hi

Perhaps P & O Cruises should have had the hull of their new cruise ship ' Ventura ' painted in this style.

It would then have distracted one from that terrible funnel which has made her the ugliest cruise ship afloat !

I'm sure you used to be able to buy Austin Allegros in both those colours. But even BMC never thought to combine them!

Her funnel is backwards, some people will get fired .
Her color scheme might not be the worst one for Tallink, check out her future cousin:

once again people that are never even going to see that ship again or better yet to travel with it are making fun of it...

not every ship in the sea have to look like QM2 or Norway. this is a modern ship, not some liner from the 50´s. even if most of you cant understand that shipping industry aren´t the same as before and that today there are cruise ships and ferries that have replaced the old liners, you should´n diss everything thats fresh and new.

take a look of this ships interiors.

Tallink imagebank

choose Tallink ships/tallink superstar/interior

after all that is what you see when you are travelling her. looks million times better than some cruiseships from the same yard. or actually looks better than most of the cruise ships.

The ship herself is not at all bad-looking, but the colors are just nauseating. I think Tom said it all - bad enough on their own, but together...

I have to disagree with Carlos, I think BALTIC PRINCESS' color scheme looks much better.

See this previous thread back in Nov. The picture there while under construction was taken on a rather dull day and Tony's make her look so much better in the full light. I still didn't like it, and that squid/octopus still hasn't satisfied it's hunger.. but it might grow. I stuck one of Tony's pics [sorry] on my desktop yesterday and she's now quite acceptable.. I might even half like her by this time next week; or I may be avoiding the PC instead

The interiors are fine and I do like the livery of all the others in the Tallink Fleet. They have a nice collection of vessels now.

Pam
