See this from Seatrade Insider:

Turkey’s Tura Turizm and German incentive company HH Tours are jointly chartering Sky Wonder from Pullmantur to offer a winter cruise program from the Turkish ports of Antalya and Kusadasi.
The ship will be based in Turkey for 20 weeks in total during October and November this year and February and March of 2009. Passengers will be offered either a three- or four-day cruise plus a one-week package or land tour. HH Tours carries around 100,000 Germans to Turkey for land-based packages each year.

The three-day cruise starting in Antalya will call at Crete, Heraklion, Santorini and Piraeus and end in Kusadasi. The longer return leg of four days’ duration repeats the program and adds Rhodes.

Aimed at German holiday-makers, the program represents the first time a cruise ship has been homeported at the two Turkish ports with passengers flying from Germany into/out of Izmir (for Kusadasi) or Antalya airports before joining the cruise, Tura Turizm owner and chief executive Erkunt Oner tells Seatrade Insider.

Interesting - do you Pullmantuur lack the ability to fill their own ships or is it they have grown to quickly ?

While chartering does keep your ships busy it obviously generates less $ than if you sold the cruises yourself.

Do Spanish/Portugese pax not cruise elsewhere during the Winter or is it simply the market is too small to sustain all the ships right through the year (in which case you have to wonder if they will grow any bigger than they are already) or should they be trying to be a more European line rather than just Spanish ?

If I were RCI I would be looking to buy CVC and intergrate it into the team.

She would have gone to CVC for the season, but instead they are having both Sovereign & Empress, along with Zenith & Pacifc, Grand Mistral & G Celebration. Sky Wonder got the push. Pullmantur only lay up their Med vessels during the winter, as some other Med Lines, if a charter is not found. If you live in Spain I doubt you want to cruise the Med in winter; they could have sent her to the Caribbean I suppose, but expect she was already on the 'charter market'? It sounds a good deal for the German market, interesting itins, but I would have included Cyprus & Egypt in there too, maybe next year.

Here's a link to a photo taken today of SKY WONDER in her new Pullmantur livery:

SKY WONDER

I still prefer the dark blue funnel; interesting that the company name is now discreetly painted aft on the hull.
