Hi Folks,

Queen Mary 2 arrived in Auckland this morning. The shore line was packed with people from the city out to the eastern beaches to see her enter the harbour from 7am

My Photos from this morning.

She is due to leave at 10pm tonight with fireworks display to see her off.

Its been a big week here in Auckland with 9 cruise ships visiting over the last 7 days including:

Queen Elizabeth 2
Pacific Princess
Oriana

Europa
Sapphire Princess
Statendam
Oceanic Discoverer
Queen Mary 2

Nice pictures. It's really amazing how much attention QM2 gets - Hats off for the Cunard marketing departement.

The 'problem' with the funnel is that Cunard painted it this way - which somehow per definition makes it a Cunard funnel. (it's not a wrongly painted model we talk about) Maybe that's Cunard red from now on.
