This signature program seems to be crap - I do not like this cardboard deck at all - it really looks cheap.
...and that next to the pool - what do they think will happen when it gets in contact with water? They should have stayed with teak.

The Dutch governement have made the rules fore the Dutch flag more flexible. Also it's now cheaper to fly the Dutch flag thene before 1995.

No - Veendam has 2 Captains, James Russell Dunsford, (British) and Albert Schoonderbeek, (Dutch). They rotate - 3 months on 3 months off.
Dunsford was the Captain on my cruise in early November...... Schoonderbeek took over the end of November.
The ship is still in drydock in the Bahamas and will return to Tampa on Jan. 28th all spiffed up.
