I like the Queen Elizabeth 2 to look at best because she has the classic lines of a thorough bread, she is huge yet well proportioned and she has a very attractive hull, bow, stern and superstructure. Her lifeboats are placed in a good position which makes her look clutter free. Her one mighty funnel and her mast compliment her brilliantly.
Caronia and Norway are my next two favorites.
Happy Sailing!

Swan Hellenic's MINERVA, IMHO, may well be the most balanced of all the contemporary liners, thought she'd probably fit on the Lido Deck of the VOYAGER OF THE SEAS. The VOTS is not a bad-looking vessel herself, she is certainly better looking than the GRAND PRINCESS, which looks like a shopping cart. All the others have the inspriation of a Maytag
Classic liners; most are beautiful except for the Oriana of 1960, and the WW1 German giants. Canberra and Rembrandterdam are the most beautiful.
Gizmo comparing a classic to a modern is to me, a Jaguar saloon to a garbage truck.

I know what you mean Paddy, but at least Disney tried, which is more than some other lines have done!
