I'm going to be going on my first cruise onboard Sundream soon - has anyone else travelled on this ship? I've booked a superior outside cabin but can't find any photographs anywhere - can any of you help? It's my honeymoon and I'm really excited - does anyone have anything they can tell me?

I think the Sundream was originally the Song of Norway??

Wonderful ship! From what I have heard they have taken excellent care of the vessel.

Chrissy, congratulations firstly on your upcoming marriage and secondly on your first cruise. My wife and I have been on Sundream twice, both times to the Med.In comparison to some of the other ships we have been on Sundream is not quite so luxurious but having said that we did go on her two years in a row.If it is the Med trip you are taking since the ship uses the pound sterling on board and you possible will be visiting Spain France and Italy, watch out for the charges for changing currency. We decided the second time around to just use our credit card for purchases wherever we went and found it better as far as value was concerned. On the ship they charge you to change your money both front and back so you get dinged twice.
As for the on board activities we found them to be very good.Food was to our satisfaction and the staff very helpfull.Cabins are not too big but for your 'purpose' more than enough.Good luck and may you have a wonderfull cruise.

Barryboat is right, Sundream was formerly 'Song of Norway'. I've not cruised on her, but I've seen her in port several times. Shes a very attractive ship, in my opinion.

First time cruisers particularly seem to enjoy Airtours cruises.

I miss ships like the Song of Norway, Nordic Prince....etc. I'm glad that Airtours is maintaining them well. I know Royal Caribbean took excellent cre of their ships.
