Today is a day to remember. Finally ss Rotterdam has opened her doors for the public. I hope a lot of the CT members can find their way to the ship and hopefully I can meet some of you one day aboard.

Nicoline and I have booked a cabin this Friday.

Malcolm, the Ocean Bar, Club Room and Lido restaurant/terrace are free to visit. Once on board you can buy a tour and have a choice of three tours. I suggest to take the 'Rotterdam complete' at 16.-- euro per person, which leads you to the bridge, rooms on Bridge deck, foredeck and engine room.
The three rooms mentioned are run by the hotel. All other rooms are run by 'On Board On Shore' and are closed for visitors. You can hire those for conferences or big parties.
So as a visitor you have very limited access.

Later this year, the OLS will organise a visit. For more info, contact the vice chairman D T-J.

The whole city center up to the ROTTERDAM is marked by big yellow balloons with the text "This way to the ROTTERDAM" Some where cutting the lines of the balloons to take one home. On one moment you could see several of these balloons in the subway cars and in the shopping streets. Next week I will go, to try to take my free tour. Received after the safety try-out.

Greetings Ben.

These are photos of staterooom number M376 on the REMBRANDT from our only cruise on her. It was a 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise, Jan. 2, 2000.
This was a lovely outside stateroom with twin portholes. Just had to share this. Just 2 days ago, was the fourth anniversary of my husband's passing away. I've come along way since then.
Enjoy the photos and BTW, some of the photos are backwards, not sure how that happened. I have a Canon MP250 and I left the photos in the pages.
