Oh for crying out loud!! You mean you have never head of the SS United States doug? Or are you just making a mountain out of the fact that he called it USS United States? Can anyone not make a mistake around here without someone getting all bent out of shape? Imagine if he had called it the SS United State and forgot the "S" at the end!!

Frosty 4 nice find. She was never USS. Although during the Vietnam war she was almost USS United States.

I guess I spent too much time in the Navy. But one does wonder if we used the ship to transport troops what would it have been called?? I do know QE 2 was used to transport troops to the Falklands. Sorry for the error but at least the video was good Right?
