Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), starting summer 2017, will position five of its cruise ships in Europe, the biggest deployment to the region in line’s history.
Norwegian Getaway will sail on 8- and 9-night Baltic capitals voyages from Copenhagen, overnighting in St. Petersburg and calling at such world class cities like Tallinn, Stockholm, Helsinki.
Norwegian Jade will be homeported in Hamburg, a first for NCL. The ship will offer unique itineraries, including 6- and 8-night western Europe, 8- and 9-night Norwegian Fjords, 11-night Norway and North Cape, and a 13-night cruise to Norway, Iceland, and the UK. A number of sailings will also offer the opportunity to start the sailing in either Amsterdam or Southampton.
“With these exciting new summer European itineraries, we are offering our guests a wider variety of adventurous itineraries that span the continent, while also bringing one of our newest and most innovative ships to Europe”, said president and chief operating officer of Norwegian, Andy Stuart.
Norwegian Epic will continue sailing the western Mediterranean through summer 2017, with embarkation in Civitavecchia (Rome), Marseille and Barcelona.
Norwegian Spirit will boast 10- and 11- night Mediterranean cruises between Barcelona and Venice.
Norwegian Star will begin sailings from Venice to Turkey and the Greek Isles.
