Hey CT friends, here is video TWO in the two-part series filmed aboard the Celebrity Summit. I know this is old news that the Summit was "Solsticized" but in this video I show some of the specific areas that were modified.

The statue was for years overlooking the pool area at The Hotel Fontainebleau. (pronounced "Fontenblow")
It can be seen at the start of the movie "Goldfinger" of James Bond fame.

I'm interviewing the man who was responsible for purchasing the Baudry statue from the Fountainbleu hotel. He bought the statue for celebrity for $175,000...they wanted $350,000, but he was able to get the price down. After he purchased the statue, someone offered $1 Million. The statue was then sent to Italy for repairs and refurbishment, then to the shipyard in France where the Celebrity Summit was built.

Barry, since you're writing about the Normandie Dining Room, please note the spelling in my previous post. The hotel uses the French spelling: "Fontainebleau." Also note the last syllable is pronounced as if it were "blow," not "blue."

Sorry Frosty4, That's how I pay the bills. I'm trying to have fewer and shorter commercials.

Sorry, Pam, the closest I could come to was "blow." In French syllables are always short and not drawn out as in some languages. Ask a native French speaker to say it for you so that you can hear it properly done.
