Here's a direct link to the OLYMPIC video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxFGqCNh5sQ&search=liner
It was a promotional film made in the early 1920s--great stuff! Don't forget to turn up the sound!

Had a look at the video and it brought back so many memories, I was a passenger on the Oceanos when it sank on the 4th of August 1991, exactly 15 years ago today. I was wondering if there were any other passengers who were on the cruise who may frequent this web, if so please drop me a line. Thanks again for the link.
Welcome aboard, it must have been a harrowing experience. Can you share any memories of the event? How did you find out the ship was in trouble and how was the evacuation handled?

As Joe asks.. have you written down the story? I am sure many here on Cruisetalk would love to read what went on from someone aboard.
Well I started writing about my experience in word and was going to copy it here, but it turned into a six page essay, so I have posted it here: http://oceanossinking.blogspot.com/
Please read it and let me know if you have any other questions.
