So... she is more than likely going to end up in Aliaga as that is where IONION PELAGOS' AIS states at present and certainly they are sailing in the right direction... it could change.
A photo here, looks as though she is named ANTIC, but it's not too clear - photos on the site I think you were trying to link to definitely show ATLANTIC S - here. Who knows what is correct?

It is sad as there are simply few if any attractive cruise ships being built today. It is ashame that Sitmar ordered her as a turbine driven ship. Had she been built w/diesels, she could easily seen another 10-15 years of service.
Maintenance was a big part of it (and maybe partially how well she was built). By the time she left Princess she was having mechanical issues and by the time she was finished in Australia she was already mechanically worn out. Pullmantur bought her because they were afraid a competitor would buy her and Pullmantur way overpaid for a ship with major mechanical problems.
Very sad to see her go because she was a nice ship but she lacked modern amenities and the mechanical problems were simply prohibitively expensive to fix. If she had been taken care during her life maybe she could have avoided some of these life ending problems.

True but we have seen many ships older than her trade for another 10-15-20 years. The former RVL sisters are perfect examples and yes those are all motor ships. The poor Fairsky of course had outdated engines installed when new and apparently was not properly maintained for decades based on mechanical as well as structural issues she has endured. As for being old and outdated, I get a kick looking at the above photo of her w/the 65-year-old former SAL liner Stockholm (now Athena) docked in front of her. 65-years of continuous service but w/tens of millions of dollars in refits and rebuilding and still in service. Some ships are lucky and others not.
Still, I would love to see the video of how they beached her. There are other videos on YouTube from Aliaga showing ships steaming at full speed onto the beach. I don't know how Fairsky managed as she was towed to her final resting place.
