P&O Australia are not acquiring a new ship to replace her but Carnival are introducing Carnival Spirit to Australia later this year and she becomes the effective replacement in Carnival Corporation's Australian fleet.
It will be interesting to see what happens to the remaining P&O fleet now given they are currently in a nothing livery. It is possible that they will be rebranded as Carnival also or maybe Princess. We'll wait and see.
However the name ' Amber Sun ' is also coming up for her so this could be her new name.

China’s HNA Tourism Group, which acquired Pacific Sun from P&O Cruises Australia in July, is renaming the ship Henna and launching a cruise programme to serve the home market at the start of 2013.
Operated by HNA Tourism Cruises Yacht Management Co., Ltd, the first mainland company in China to own a cruise ship, Henna will sail out of Chinese ports in its inaugural season.
The ship has 740 cabins and is capable of accommodating around 2,000 tourists. It is currently in Singapore undergoing refurbishment although HNA has not disclosed what work is being undertaken.
Henna will sail both short cruises and longer routes using Sanya and Tianjin as its home ports to destinations in Vietnam and South Korea.
Located in Beijing, HNA Tourism Group is part of HNA Group, operating travel agencies, airlines, hotels, car rental, convention bureau and travel magazines. It has total assets of more than 10bn RMB.
One of its five airlines is Grand China Express, among the largest regional airlines in China operating over 30 aircraft on 80 domestic routes.
The slogan of HNA Tourism Group is 'My Travel, My Life.'
