A bit like a modern sea-going version of Radio City (with very different materials). I see a bit of CGT 1920s and 1930s decor. Its more of a grand hall than an atrium IMO.

If this was Carnival, everyone would say it was tacky but since it's Disney it must be wonderful.

The difference between this space and what is usually scene on Carnival ships are miles or neon lighting, colors that often don't coordinate, bizarre mix of styles and fixtures of unusual proportion and scale.

It is only 3 stories high.

Carnival? I have toured the Victory. Their attempts at 19th century come out contrived and mangled. The rest of the interiors need an editing job. Remove about half of the baubles and gewgaws, and the spaces will start to make sense
