Well, in a couple of hours I'll be bound for Miami after being absent since 1999, but not before being routed through Dulles first.

Looking forward to spending some quality time relaxing on the Celebrity Millennium, meeting Ernie and Frank, and spending 10-nights figuring out what to eat next!

Right now I'm in the airport at CKB and it's literally deserted, I am the only person here and not even the ticket counter is manned, which I'm sure can't be said for IAD when I get there. It's been a very, very long time since I travelled over a Thanksgiving weekend and hoping for be best.

Wish me luck!

Engine problems at Dulles so we are deplaning and going back inside until they can figure out what to do. Off to a rough start...

Hey, Grant! Yes, I had an overnight booked at the Intercontinental downtown. After we de-planed, waited in the terminal for another hour, changed terminals, and they brought in a different aircraft we departed nearly three hours late arriving into Miami around 12:15am. I finally got checked in and in the room by 1:30am.

For some odd reason I woke up at 5:30am just in time to watch Celebrity Millennium pull into the turning basin. After that I couldn't get back to sleep. Watched the other four ships pull in then walked to CVS and bought two cases of water and some sunscreen. It was a long walk back (just one block) carrying that water!

Off for some breakfast and the bus tour. Have a late check-out 1pm if I need it.

Grettings from Roatan! Weather is spectacular. Doing a sort of LIVE thread over on Cruise Critic Celebrity Forums. I can post pictures via Tapatalk over my iPhone. Cruise Talk takes a terribly long time to load and post. Not sure why?

Tomorrow Cozumel and docking next to Oasis of the Seas!

Turn-around Day in Miami! Yea! Spectacular cruise so far. Ernie and Frank are hopefully onboard. Emergency Drill in four minutes. Weather is beautiful but a bit chilly. Looks like another perfect sail away today.
