On all her previous pics (and even on Seabourn's website) the small platforms and 'accordian' style stack below the exposed funnel pipes are painted white. I would hope that area is just painted black and that isn't soot.

There are also a number of photos of her at ShipSpotting which show those painted black while she was cruising the Med.

Certainly on the inside--I was very impressed with the design and minimalist decor on the ODYSSEY. Very classic and classy, not depending upon lots of ornamentation or kitsch. I would love to see such design on a larger ship, but it could be lost on the multitudes who are expecting "more bang for their buck" on a cruise ship.
Yes, by far the most desirable ship of the past year (....actually, it's a very long time ago since a ship comparable to her has been built...).
