She is indeed a stunning vessel. Cant wait until all five of them grace the seas. Should be interesting to see the interior decor differences of them as the last one rolls off the blocks.

The outdoor pool area looks tight but on a positive note it looks like natural teak decking was used. The covered dry portions looks like real wood.

The interiors are very interesting and unique. The dining room is very retro 1960s cool.

The interiors look very "Celebrity-esque" to me. I have never been a fan of Celebrity interiors other than the new ones on Century. Exterior looks to be crowded, but that remains to be seen. For me, all in all, much ado about very little.

SOLSTICE is a stunner as I figured she would be (and all Celebrity ships are). Her interior design is probably the most original and current I have seen on a ship in a long time. It's reflective of today and not some by-gone era. Certainly it's leaps and bounds ahead of recent newbuilds such as EURODAM, QUEEN VICTORIA, and RUBY PRINCESS.

So I feel that SOLSTICE *is* much ado about something very interesting, far more so then any other ship we have seen lately except perhaps AIDA!

Congratulations to Celebrity for a job well done!

It is good to hear that many like her interiors. It goes to show that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Perhaps I will find them more pleasing in reality rather than in photos.

Everytime I see her I like her more and more. Shes looking very nice. There is a lot of blue and white though, but its not to much.

After a very good impression with the first interior shots. I'm now a bit disappointed, I found here to cold in this stage. One room i like it's here main dinning room reminds me of interior design of the late '50 and '60's.

Fortunately we will be able to see her in person in Jan. looks good so far. A departure from the cookie cutter ships that abound out there, IMHO of course.
I would like to see some cabin shots. Any help here???

I must say if you like warm and fuzzy, Celebrity is probably not for you. Celebrity ships tend to be more cutting edge, and sometimes that means a little cold in areas as that is the style today. HAL is definitely more warm and fuzzy.

Very beautiful interiors. HAL could learn something from this ship. Not sure about the main pool area. Looks crowded. Other than that, she is one beautiful ship.

Beautiful like always, yes Ernie, very cutting edge and sophisticated, one of my favorite ship interiors so far. The neon lights on the dining room should've been blue though.

The ship is a real class act. Parts of it especially remind me of the Rafaello Dining Room and the QE2 Queens Lounge as built.

The casino is ugly, but they need a place to get the bad ideas out of their system.

I am more excited to be on the decade old Galaxy in 2 weeks which is the progenitor and still beautiful.
Mercury is my favorite of the 3.

Solstice really shows how the Farcus formula is stale and tired.

Stunning better than I thought, great photos.

She does give the feel of a grand ocean liner in a modern way, and I think you get the feel that you are on a ship in almost all the areas unlike most of the cruise ships today.

2 areas I don't like are the purple casino and the disco but you have so many alternatives.....

But my pet hate is the rounded beds - as twins they do not work and a bed next to the balcony, does not work for me.

Other than that Bravo.

Yes you are right in the aspect of warm and fuzzy thats me warm and fuzzy. And HAL oh well nobody cane denied that I'm in love with that line. That said and I said it in my previous post I love here Dinning room. A room designed in the great tradition of main dinning rooms on board our beloved Transat liners (HAL, CGT etc.) Like here exterior and inn that I'm turned 180 degrees from the first ugly renderings.
Oh well she looks much better then the RCI vessels.

well what could i add to you remarks, it's all matter of taste is it?

yes and no, i think the interiours of this ship are
impressive, nicely done, and in certain areas
absolutely new and imaginative

but for the lack of deckspace i'm almost sure that this ship is to me: A BAD WEATHER SHIP!
i think you can probably enjoy and have a nice cruise
but with the sun out and finding deckspace this ship
will feel VERY VERY crowded

imagine 2850 passengers trying to find a way
through, a possible deckchair ...??!!

it will be interesting to learn about reviews when she will be sailing down the Caribbean, i think she's better of in "bad weather" areas...
