Balmoral returning to Southampton not Dover at the end of current cruise due to propulsion problems.

From website as follows:-

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines advise that owing to technical concerns experienced with the vessel's propulsion system during its current cruise, BL021, MS Balmoral will now be returning to Southampton, Mayflower Cruise Terminal, Thursday 18 September, instead of Dover. The current ETA is 1300hrs.

Similarly, cruise BL022, commencing Thursday 18 September will now operate from/to Southampton. Joining passengers are asked to check-in at the Mayflower Cruise Terminal from 1800hrs, with an estimated sailing time of 2200hrs.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines apologise for the inconvenience caused, but the BL022 itinerary can only be operated as per the planned 7 night itinerary with this change of embarkation/disembarkation port.

It is unfortunate that Fred Olsen did not contact all passengers regarding the change of embarkation port for the cruise starting on September 18th. Many of us travelled to Dover before we discovered that the ship was at Southampton. Coaches were provided to take us to Southampton. The ship suffered noise and vibration problems and required maintenance during the cruise - for some periods the toilets were not working, neither was the water supply. Not a good cruise.
