After being aboard Eurodam for her inaugural festivities and her inaugural voyage to Norway & Scotland, I am please to publish a photologue of her on ShipCafé. I am keeping this photologue dynamic as I will be back aboard her soon a couple of times and will add/update photos accordingly so check back later!

I am sorry to see some of that hideous HAL carpet found it's way to the Greenhouse Spa. At least it's not all over the rest of the ship and maybe this is the last we will see of it???
Still not sure about those cabin corridors (I think Rotterdam Deck looks the best) but they are improved.
Overall the ship looks quite good.

It has a sleek Dutch Moderne look in parts, yet the punctuation of 19th Century and before Dutch Art reproductions seems to border on kitsch.
The Netherlands are world leaders in art and design for the modern movement and 20th century.
The DeStijl movement, works of Mondrian, De Kooning, Rem Koolhas come to mind.
IMO that is the type of work I would like to see featured.

In real Silk Den looks very good, much better then on pictures. She's in the same style as Tamarind. The most out of touch bar is the Pinnacle Bar that's one ugly and cold decorated bar. Most people thought so. Overall feel of Eurodam is excellent a real HAL vessel much in line with S and R class vessels and with a modern touch.

I couldn't figure out initially why they only have that color carpeting on deck 7 but it must be to note that it's the deck with the Neptune Lounge, Penthouses, etc.

This is what I figured as well. Too bad they didn't use that carpet on all the decks. I think it looks good.

I think that the brighter colors on the other decks is more impressive in person. It seems that the photos never do justice. Admittedly when first boarding and finding my stateroom, I was pretty surprised to have those colors hit me though - lol.

That's my idea too but somehow these designers gone a bit Disney with all these Golden Age inspired decors coloured like for example a Rembrand painting. However everything is designed to attract a ceertain clientele.
Eurodam look a bit better than the others as they have now also worked with a Norwegian interior design firm.
I see only one room that I'm not crazy about, and it was mentioned above by Ben, The Pinnacle Bar. I agree.....that's one ugly and most uncomfortable-looking room. But the rest of the ship is very inviting. The hydrotherapy room is a vast improvement over the same space on the older Vistas, aboard which it almost appears Carnival-esque. With a little luck and a lot of prayers, maybe I'll be sailing her in the not-too-distant future.

Well it was quite a bit different of a crowd compared to her Europe guests but it was still an enjoyable experience.

I know there were a lot of "ship nuts" onboard with the NY World Ship Society so hopefully you got to meet many of them.
