Hi Pam, to be quite honest, I hadn't noticed, I just saw the gleaming hull and funnel!I suppose its a tad difficult with a "wet dock" refit, although I'm sure they could have tried to give it a scrub.
Its hard getting my head round the fact that there is only 7 months until we never see her in Southampton ever again...
Maybe a few waves will hide it, but still not good where the boot topping repint ends abruptly.
This is most likely a self-polishing coating that turns gray when it is underwater.
It is a pity that the boot topping does not appear to have been entirely repainted though. I think Patsy or someone ought to go into the Cunard offices and demand that it be done properly!
