I am with you Ernie. Throw them off at the next port or if it is a sea day, then into the water (that may be too cruel as they don't swim) or walk the plank. They are punks who don't know how to behave, have no class, no home training are disrespectful and should not be on the Mariner of the Seas in the first place. I will be onboard in May and hope I don't run into them. If they want to act like like urban rapster gansters, then they can go back where they came from or least over to Carnival.

Good luck w/your teaching career. Hopefully it will be in a private school!

Put them off at the next port and "Blacklist" them...and their parents too.

Talking of blacklists or no cruise lists, i remember when i worked on the old Pacific Princess we did find one older woman who had been put on a no cruise list by other companies, she was known as the Phantom Crapper. She used to enjoy leaving small brown surprises/ gifts in public rooms on various cruise ships at the time.
Even 16 years or so later I have no idea what would be the fun in doing that!

Tis true, the 'insiders' such as yourself Feargus, who grace this board have advised me that there are VIP passenger lists, watch lists, and black lists as you describe.

The internet is a small place

There were a good many people in the comments below those videos that did not care for what they were doing.

Unfortunately, cruising is a microcosm of society. Society has somehow taught youth that talking smack, challenging authority or disrespecting elders is cool. It is easy to be a wise ass, but they don't get it. It takes more courage to be kind, respectful and aware beyond yourself. The smack is cowardly. But frankly, I see similar behavior from adults. As cruising has become mostly a mass market product, we are subject to this more than I care for. I cruise to get AWAY from the hassels, challenges and rude treatment I get every day.

Just as I detest air travel, which is no more than a flying bus, I am increasingly selective as to which ship, which itinerary and what time of year I cruise.

Although we know of selective cruise products where we are unlikely to encounter this, I would hope the larger cruise companies will soon identify a niche market to commit ships to the adult market. I believe Celebrity looked at adult only cruises, but I do not know if it materialized.

But that would not cure the ills of ill behaved adults, which are no rareity. I just continue to wonder why people who protest social behavior norms flock to cruising. Did they not KNOW other human beings would be aboard?
