This is the video about building the Voyager and Explorer (and her sisters) and decorating it and everything. I here that it talks a lot about safety and can make those who are a tad uncomfortable become more trusting of cruising on this ship.

Is this worth the $20 they are selling it for on Ebay? You can always make a cheaper offer but I don't know if they will accept it or not.

I kind of want to see the video but wondered if it was cool or not.

If this is the one they sell onboard it really is a great DVD, but it only shows Voyager. It gets pretty detailed about the concept and design. It truely is a must see.

I have the dvd that you're talking about. I bought it while onboard Voyager. It's really an incredible 3 part video, and it does have some insight that would make weary cruisers more comfortable about the engineering and safety. They show this video onboard Voyager on the in room TV's. I hope they are producing a similar video for Freedom OTS.

A MOST ENJOYABLE VIEWING! They ran it continously on my sailing on board Voyager out of Bayonne, NJ to the Western Caribbean. While this did cover the Eagle projects, if you watched one, you've watched them all.

One thing that is no less than truly amazing is that these ships do not have to drop anchor in Caribbean ports so as not to damage the delicate coral reef as they do have GPS to keep the ships stay right where they are....anywhere on the planet. This is truly, truly a marvel of technology

I have to agree that this is a great video. I bought the DVD on the Navigator.

I have seen that very interesting video on a few RCI cruises we have been on. It seems to be part of their onboard programming. I know QM2 has the similar GPS technology and wondered if all newbuilds use this today??

Not only is it worth the money, but if you don't agree you can always sell it again on ebay, so you don't really lose out either way!

Mmm...I would certainly hope so that this is the standard for all modern cruise ships. It's good for so many reasons...The residents are very proud and protective over their coral reefs, that is one of the things that cruise passengers come to see when they plan a Caribbean vacation, so it would be very advantageous for the lines not to damage any part of their ports.

I almost can't wait to talk to the crewmen on these ships. If you catch them in a good mood and if they have a free moment you can learn so much. This one sound and lighting technician on Voyager was telling me about the two brigs they have on deck zero. For me, it was always one of those..."well, I think ships have brigs, but I'm not really sure"
Got that one cleared up right away!

Normally on an Voyager Class ship, they seel for about 29.99$, so 20$ is a better deal. They are very detail but concentrate only on Voyager, and a few peeks at Explorer.
