Dan,
I was about your age when my generous grandparents took me and sister on:
1) Paquet cruises DOLPHIN IV- summer 1980
2) NCL SUNWARD II - summer 1981
3) Eastern's EMERALD SEAS - spring 1983
4) EMERALD SEAS again - summer 1984
(by the way, we lived in Bradenton, FL!)
then came college
5) Premier OCEANIC - summer 1896
more college
became financially self-supporting
6) NCL NORWAY - fall 1999
7) NCL NORWAY - fall 2000

the future?
I hope the Rembrandt comes back, because I had hoped that would have been my 2001 vacation. Otherwise, who knows? I'm attracted to Norwegian Star (Hawaii 7 night - the price is right)and Princess southern Caribbean has appealing itineraries.
