Ernie about 6 days yoy are sailing on the Nieuw Amsterdam. During here maiden voyage here first passengers where asked to sign a wall that after was placed a/b the ship. My friend who is working on board (food and baverage manager and a/b untill November) have put my name on the wall. Is it possible that you make a picture of that board fore me it would have be nice to have a picture of it. A bit proud to have my name on that board and not have step one foot on board here

I would be gratefull.

Hey Ben,
No problem. If it's there, I will definitely take some pictures for you.

There has been some discussion as to whether it's actually onboard or not. Some previous passengers have tried to find it unsuccessfully. HAL may still be framing it or making some type of preparation. I think it's supposed to be in the lobby when it does make it's way onboard.

Thanks. I am looking forward to a week off work! LOL Frankly I would have been happy on just about any ship, including EPIC. My partner not so much. He will be much happier on NIEUW AMSTERDAM. I'm expecting a very quiet week of relaxation, which is not such a bad thing. I'm sure I'll have plenty of time for taking pictures, and hopefully the ship is appealing enough that I actually want to take pictures.
