Does not look much like the Antarctica I know! Looks more like South Georgia to me, a sub-antarctic Island. Eric

I could not agree more -we have had a few near misses this last twelve month!

One of these going downfor real and we will see some tabloid headlines.

Cruise ships of this calibre belong in traditional cruising waters for safety's sake.

Eric - actually I think it was South Georgia because my friend who is the Shorex Manager on the ship sent me a photo taken about the same time as Ben's friend took his and said it was from SG where they were at anchor. Unfortunately I deleted the photo.

My photo looked similar to the one Ben posted after the one of the cemetary. They were having snow flurries that day and I think that may be flurries you can see in Ben's photo - mine showed them quite clearly.

A friend we met last summer on the Veendam, on a Baltic Cruise, is on this full round-south America cruise, which I would love - and intend - to do some day.

Prinsendam is actually on a world cruise. But passengers are able to book certain parts of the cruise separately.

To all others the pictures are taken at South Georgia. Sorry fore the mistake i made. Although it's close to Antarctica.

Greetings Ben.
