Sorry to hear that you had a bad time on the QM2.Was the chipped glasses and the honey the main factor ? or was there more issues that made your cruise unhappy?

Normally lines do have a complaint centre that you can write too or even phone.I suppose Cunard also have that service to hear of feedback.

Are you interested in letting us know the full details of your unhappy trip?.

QM2 seems to be a great ship
but like everything on earth she is not perfect
and it is very resonable to see pepole who have bad times on her as pepole who enjoyed her very much .

Write to Cunard. Explain the problems that you experienced and exactly what you require them to do for you.

Ideally you should always start by complaining while onboard to a Cunard employee (not the other guests!)

I trust you have something more that 'chipped glasses and honey' to complain about?

Are we all sure that this miserable woman didn't have (as she wrote) chipped gasses?

Thanks cheery!

I had chipped glasses that cut my husbands mouth! They ran out of honey and they ran out of hot chocolate.

The rooms were and are a disaster. The staff incase any of you have not been on her are the most miserable we have seen in all our years of cruising.( the pub was not the place to be and one man that has worked on many ships said she is not cut out to be a cruise ship)

Anyway they quit while we were on her, or I should say in dock. we reached one port and they never got back on.Room stewards in the lower decks have had to take on more rooms making them over tired and under paid.I am originally from the UK , DH and I have cruised just about every line and I think Cunard is turning into Carnival 2. The ladies washrooms near the ballroom had such line ups that we needed to go back to our rooms to use facilities and when we did get in them, they were filthy!

MY GF did the cruise for Xmas and is taking this to a lawyer.I just wanted an address for Cunard that counted( wrong place I guess)

.I have had it with princess, I enjoy RC and will stay with them At least nobody gets two chipped glasses and is cut in the mouth x 2!..and then when approached nobody gives a toss.
So miserable isn't the word , disappointed and upset are two!

Good day

I know it's Cunard but I cant locate an address that doesnt tie in with Carnival.I was hoping there was one in the UK!, they don't have an address which is why I chose here.I wont bother again sorry

OH and as a PS! we asked for fresh fruit in our room and they said we don't have any!! we emailed our travel agent and lo and behold they found some!

Cunard Line, Richmond House, Terminus Terrace, Southampton SO14 3PN.

If your Travel Agent can arrange fresh fruit they should be able to assit you with an address and your complaint.

The address for Carnival in the UK is the same, should you need it. If your cruise was booked in the US, Cunard in the UK cannot do anything anyway.

I trust you made a written complaint whilst aboard. You can take your own pot of honey & hot chocolate with $35. There wasn't even ANY strawberry jam on my last cruise... did I moan, it's my favourite... no, I had something else instead. Nor would I wish to make a formal complaint in the hope of getting a refund, and raising the cost of cruising for everyone.

I dont much care what your standards are.I would offer this though If your DH's lip was cut open and they just shrugged when told, would you not be at and tickked off!

It sounds to me like she missed the gangway for the QM2 and got on Pride of Aloha's first trip instead!

Ah well, there is always the lawyer!

Dear mellow lady -
In reply to your recent PRIVATE message, I can't see what asking me whether or not I have been laid lately and if that is the reason I am so grumpy has anything to do with anything really.

mellow lady.

As you by now discover you deal witte poeple who now what they are saying. To complain about the service you have to contact Cunard. Look on there website. There is an whole page dedicated fore contacting theme about almost everthing. Don't mail, but sending a letter witte detail information over what going wrong on your voyage a/b the QM2.

Further i believe that you are difficult to pleace and have on everthing negativ responce. Oke chipped glasses is stupid, they have to remark this before they ussed theme fore youre drinks. Otherwice i always checked if glasses are clean and chip free before i drink. I always look at a glass whene brought to me. And return the lot iff something is wrong. Fore the rest i don't no i believe that it's an over reaction.

And iff you believe that crew where working hard and geth underpayed. Why uou complain so much they working hard and are underpaid. So it's not surpricing that they are not give a high standard of service.

Greetings Ben.

Now I see why you called mellow lady a boor in the other thread. It now sounds like an appropriate description.

I, too, rec'd a private message from Mellow Lady (or whatever her name is)...I can certainly say - she should remove the "Lady" part of her name...

But enough about that...

I wonder if now that she has sailed on Cunard she gets a Carnival Past Passenger Privilege???

I sure would not want to run into her on one of our ships (at least we aren't owned by Carnival )
