I will be taking my first cruise aboard Caribbean Princess from May 21-28...going to Ocho Rios, Cozumel and Georgetown. I have the following questions:1. Any excursions that you recommended?2. Did anybody take alcohol with them on the cruise?3. Since I am vegetarian, do you know if they take special requests? Any experiences? 4. Any experience with Personal Choice dining?
Thanks a lot!!!
Alcohol - pack it in your luggage wrapped in ziplock bags...although they scan your luggage now, they will not open it for a bottle of liquor. Otherwise, while on board, make friends with the security people..then bring a bottle back from shore and make small talk with the security as you get back on..they'll let it pass.
Personal Choice has it's pluses and minuses...sometimes I like it cause I can eat when I want, other times I miss the full "dining room" experience of having a waiter get to know your table and you knowing your tablemates... On this itinerary, you leave port early everyday, so I'd go with regular dining....now you have first or second seating to think about....
Hope this helps
