During the day I like; Bingo, swimming, working out, laying out in the sun, reading, getting spa treatments and of course nap time is great on a cruise after an action packed day. At night: Fine dining, seeing a show, sitting on a deck chair and enjoying a nice warm night . I also like to go to a dark part of the ship-usually forward and looking at the stars.

I certainly think cruise lines need to re-think thier policy of 'Flesh & Feathers' entertainment each evening in the theatres and show lounges each evening.

Although the occasional broadway type show can be great - many are rather poorly done. I think today's audience requires something more professional and original.

I agree Malcolm, the cruise ships all have the same song & dance stuff that was fun for a while but has now lost it's magic. It was great on the Norway back in 1982. It would be great if the cruise lines would get with the times and come up with more original forms of entertainment...or go back to the way it was on the liners and have an occassional movie star or famous performer do a "spontaneous" engagement to entertain the passengers. To me the "flesh & feathers" is boring and I'd rather find other stuff to do on the ship. I guess it's boring to me because I've seen so much of it. I've OD'd on the production shows.

What do you propose ?

The 3moulin rouge " is over a century, with the same kind of shows. Most passengers don't see the shows that often, and isn't it part of the experience ?
