Every time a new topic comes up, in less than an hour, this sleepy forum, has new photos from Ocean Liners. If not, the forum sleeps for a long time.

True they are good photos, and appreciate them. This is public access forum and self promotion should be minimized. George-Ocean Liners, When someone posts something new, especially a question. let it sit on top for at least a day.

In my opinion, it's time to take appropriate action aginst this menace. He has totally destroyed the pupose of this forum. Whenever anyone makes a legitimate post, its presence is almost immediately removed from the "Latest Post" entry for the forum on the main menu and gets replaced by a notification of yet another photo from you know who. As a result of this anti-social behaviour, many legitimate questions about various ports never get seen.

It becomes an issue when one person completely overtakes and monopolizes an entire sub-forum. Although the pictures are interesting, the flood of information over the last two months has been well beyond excessive.

He's still at it. Every day he logs in, sees that someone else has posted in this forum, and he adds a new photo in an old thread to get one of his threads listed as the most recent post in the forum. He is a pest who has rendered this Forum useless to people who have questions about various ports of call.

Maybe its time to open another category for photos from other countries, (i.e. Asia). Let him post all he wants and reclaim this forum category for what it was meant to do.

We are powerless over people, places and things.

I think most folks survey the threads when they come through, at least I do, to see what is going on in each separate forum area. And if your thread gets buried, then bump it, until this situation gets rectified.

There is no need for anger, resentment and hostility towards a forum member. I don't think he is local and from another part of the world, let's allow him to post, just maybe give him another place to do so.

A lot of forum sites have these "TROLLS" who enjoy disrupting the topics. I've seen this on this site often but just ignore them.

Ok, I expanded the forum "Cruise Videos" to "Cruise Ship Pictures and Videos " so if you want to post pictures of ships this is the new place to do that.

You are still welcome to post pictures of ships in the "Cruise Ships" forum or other forums if the picture adds to the discussion.

But if you just want to post a picture of a ship for others to see, the new place to do that is "Cruise Ship Pictures and Videos "
