Can anyone provide the name of a good (clean & reasonably priced) hotel in Miami - either near the port or in the South Beach area? It's for a one night stay in May before we sail on the Exploere of the Seas.

Darlene We just returned from the Feb.3rd sailing of the Explorer and did our pre-night at the Wyndham in downtown Miami.We had a great time in this very nice and clean hotel,in a port view room that we purchased using priceline.com. The bid was $50.+tax+fee=$60. It was a great deal.

I'm staying at cousin Stan's (cheap but I'm told not too clean) before going on Radiance of the Seas. I don't know of any hotels in the area since I'm lucky enough to have a cousin in South Miami. Good luck in finding one.

I suggest you to try the Holiday Inn Southbeach,a very nice at confortable 3 stars Hotel(the prices for a double depart from $ 42 plus $ 18 for the Amerikan Breakfast).Another good choice is the Four Points Sheraton or the Radisson Deauville(both 4 stars Hotels,with prices departing from $ 47).Have an excellent cruise!
