I am very saddened by these news. His webpage was amongst those that pioneered the presence of passenger ships in the World Wide Web. His contribution will be dearly missed.

Steve lost his battle with depression.

No amount of happy or sad events can cure it.

Imbalanced brain chemistry is an epidemic.
Medication can have nasty side effects, and if there are no side effects, they do not work.
